This strongly depends on your placement. You may teach kids, university-level students, or adults of varying language ability. Once your placement is confirmed, you’ll know which age group you’ll be working with. Lesson plans are based on the curriculum. Before you begin your teaching, you’ll participate in a comprehensive training program that will give you the tools and techniques needed to be an effective & efficient teacher. While there is a standard program to deliver, you’ll be encouraged to use your own creativity and individual teaching style to engage students in the lesson material and content.
